My Leftovers
Antoine Laurent de Lavoisier once said:
"Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed."
Silver scraps are the precious residues from metalworking. Tiny or larger fragments, remnants of cutting, filing, sawing, and also unfinished projects.
At Honu's, nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
These scraps are carefully collected and then melted down to be transformed into sheet or wire, and thus reintegrated into my creative cycle.
It was precisely during one of these processes that a creative accident occurred: some of the scraps refused to melt evenly.

So I adjusted the flame of my blowtorch, tested other melting points and it was then, at that moment, that unexpected shapes appeared with irregular, raw, almost volcanic volumes.
Rather than correcting them, I welcomed them.
Today, they exist in the form of a project called Simplement Brut .
