My Know-How
Metalworking:
From an Reliever to a passionate profession
Of Franco-Portuguese origin, having lived in Portugal for a few years, it was here, in 2023, that I started jewelry making as a self-taught craftsman.
A manual activity that allowed me to escape from everyday life and which I initially considered as an outlet.
When I look back at photos of my very first creations , I realize how far I've come (with very little equipment), and how quickly my passion for metal was revealed in me.
It's probably a matter of genes, of DNA inherited from my father, who was a jeweler's apprentice, and from my grandfather, who was a foundryman. Working with metal resonates within me and reaches every fiber of my being.

A sea turtle...! (mmmhhh... Amazing!)

This outlet became a Passion, then a Profession.
I wanted to go even further and improve my skills by taking online courses, then by joining a jewelry school for a few months.
So I gradually acquired the necessary equipment.

In November 2024,
The Big Decision.
After several months of reflection, I made the decision to retrain professionally in Jewellery/Jewelry and to make my Passion my Profession.
It is with the unconditional support of my loved ones and my Master Jeweler (a little wink to you, Miguel & Elsa) that I created the Honu Handmade Jewellery Workshop.

My expertise is therefore entirely the result of my deep passion for metal, for its progressive transformation, for handcrafted jewelry in all its definition, and it is also a culmination of a life.
