1. Exchanges, returns and cancellations

Right of withdrawal – How to return the jewellery

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal within the legal period of 14 days following receipt of the goods, the customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods, in accordance with Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of 14 February¹ , unless the professional has expressly agreed to bear them.

¹ Portuguese Decree-Law transposing European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, applicable to distance and off-premises contracts, in force in Portugal.

If you have already received your order, the jewellery must be:

  • Perfectly protected and packaged in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transport,

  • Returned via tracked delivery (e.g., registered mail or courier with tracking number),

  • Insured up to its purchase value including VAT , covering the risks of loss, theft or damage during transport.

The return is entirely at the customer's own risk.

In the event of loss, theft or damage to the returned item, without proof of tracked shipping or insurance covering the declared value , no refund can be claimed.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, certain orders are excluded from the right of withdrawal . These include:

  • Custom orders

The right of withdrawal does not apply to jewellery made according to the customer's specifications or personalized (engraving, particular dimensions, choice of a pearl or metal, custom design, etc.).

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

For hygiene and health protection reasons, earrings cannot be returned if they were delivered in sealed packaging and that packaging has been opened or unsealed after delivery.

  • Jewellery sets containing earrings

When earrings are an integral part of a jewellery set (parade) sold as an indivisible item, the right of withdrawal will not be accepted if the sealed packaging containing the earrings has been opened, due to applicable hygiene standards.

Refund
The refund for the jewellery will be issued after receipt and verification of its good condition, within a maximum period of 14 days from this receipt, according to the initial payment method.

2. Defective items or order error

We carefully inspect each piece of jewellery before shipping. However, if an item is defective or does not match your order, please contact us by email within 3 days of receiving your package, including photos.

Depending on the case, we will offer a repair, an exchange or a full refund, including return shipping costs.

The piece of jewellery must be:

  • Perfectly protected and packaged in its original packaging to prevent any damage during transport,

  • Returned via tracked delivery (e.g., registered mail or courier with tracking number),

  • Insured up to its purchase value including VAT , covering the risks of loss, theft or damage during transport.

The return is entirely at the customer's own risk.

Refund
The refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days after receipt and verification of the returned jewellery, via the same payment method used for the purchase.

3. Guarantee

All our jewellery is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects, in accordance with European Directive 1999/44/EC.

This guarantee covers exclusively the structure of the jewellery (metal, mounting, soldering, clasps).

Before returning any item, please contact us by email with photos and proof of purchase.

The customer is responsible for shipping the item for diagnosis via tracked and insured mail, up to the market value of the jewellery. If the defect is confirmed, we will cover the return shipping costs.

The piece of jewellery must be:

  • Insured up to its purchase value including VAT , covering the risks of loss, theft or damage during transport.

This guarantee does not cover :

  • Normal wear and tear, natural deterioration,
  • Impacts, scratches or breakage due to improper handling,
  • Changes in appearance due to chemicals, excessive perspiration or a particular skin pH, poor maintenance or lack of care.
  • Pearls and precious stones adorning our jewellery are excluded from this guarantee, unless they have a structural and non-natural defect (crack, stain, burn, abnormal opacity) from the day of their delivery.
