Permanently.
My eco-responsible choices
When I talk about responsibility, I’m talking about concrete decisions made when choosing my suppliers, commitments that can be verified.
Preserving Life.
For the preservation of living things, I choose eco-responsible materials.
This commitment extends to the protection of sea turtles. The leatherback turtle is the soul of Honu, my totem and my inspiration. Working with natural materials such as Tahitian pearls means working with what the ocean offers us. I cannot remain indifferent to what it harbours.
My involvement with organisations such as Renatura Congo and Te mana o te moana gives this promise a tangible dimension.

Precious metals.
I source exclusively from suppliers who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). Founded in 2005, the RJC is the global benchmark for ethics in the Jewellery and watchmaking supply chain. Its members commit to strict criteria: human rights, working conditions, material traceability, and environmental impact. Over 2,000 companies worldwide are members, and my suppliers are among them. The origin of the material is part of the jewellery.
Packaging.
The cases and packaging I use come from a supplier certified FSC® (sustainably managed forests), ISO 14001 (certified environmental management) and a signatory to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their eco-responsible ranges are made from recycled materials or sustainably sourced components. With every order I place, trees are planted. What you receive reflects the choices I make.
I set these standards for myself because I believe that every decision made in the creation of a piece of jewellery has a real impact on the environment and future generations. These same generations who will inherit Honu Jewels.
Giving or treating yourself to a piece of Honu jewellery means choosing a pleasure that respects materials, people, and the planet.
