There is a word, in the language of the Bakongo, for the exact place where the visible meets the invisible, where life touches the beyond and where the ocean becomes a passage. That word is Kalunga.

The Capsule Kalunga opens for limited periods, on chosen occasions.

During those periods, and on selected pieces, the support given by Honu Handmade Jewellery to sea turtles rises from 1% to 5%. This amount is taken from our own margin, at no extra cost to you, and goes to Te mana o te moana, an association dedicated to the protection of sea turtles in French Polynesia.

Once the capsule has closed, if the pieces are still available, the contribution returns to 1%.
