Vaihau Pendant No. 2
Selected piece
ARTISTAR JEWELS exhibition - Palazzo Bovara, Corso Venezia 51, Milan. 24, 25 and 26 October 2026 - Dispatched after the event, subject to availability
Precious. Like a sanctuary.
Vaihau is a piece of artistic jewellery, entirely hand-carved, without casting or moulding.
The shell is carved directly from a solid block of recycled solid silver 950 ‰, 2 mm thick.
The fact that it is carved on both sides lends it beauty, precision and strength.
Hollowed out on the inside to hold a naturally coloured Tahitian pearl with intense colour, and curved on the outside with gadroons that play with the light.
The sturdy bail further enhances this sense of security.
A unique piece.
